the year

so christmas, my sister's wedding, new year, chinese new year have passed and wtf, it's march already. where did my year go?

2010 being by and large a hugely uneventful year, i've promised myself i wouldn't let this year go to waste either. so i signed up for something huge ! i'm not sure i can do it.. i know i'm not cut out to take everything in stride (oh why oh why, wasn't i born brilliant *sigh*) but i really have to achieve something every year, so this is it!

i can feel the panic rising already, it's hard to quell it :(
just.. thinking about it makes me scared.

oh well.
do my best and i'll see from there.

also on a side note, grampians tomorrow with jien and then moonraker dolphin swims with wilson for our anniversary sometime next month. this is gonna be, wait for it, awesome !

Lost in the haze

1. i know my template's a bit retarded but i DON'T have time to change it :(
2. i've been super busy coz my parents are here and i have a super action packed week ! its my grad this thurs (THANKSCHU cal for helping me pick up my grad tickets) and i am ALSO starting work tomorrow. FIRST REAL JOB. so i'm nervous. but i'm excited. actually. i'm more nervous than excited but whatevs.
3. also my parents are here so i've moved to point cook for a bit. yes, the point cook which is on the other side of melbourne from where i live.
4. i've been soooo sick and i'm still not really recovered, wtf. its been ONE WEEK, zomg.
5. i start work on monday. which is tomorrow. did i mention this already? zomgzomgzomg.

so i find myself once again at point cook. and me being a terrible person that i am, am leaving madison's mum to cook me lunch while i play wii, update blog and fix my cousin's computer.

which amazingly.. even though it took me just under half an hour to do so, I DID ! ,
woot, i am amazing ! and i really hv to stop eavesdropping on ppl's conversations. hahaaaaa.

base of the problem is that her computer couldn't connect to internet. but, bringing wilson's laptop to point cook and trying to connect his here works fine.. so.. i was taking a look at her com to see what i could do (she asked me to try, don't ask me why.. she knows i have absolutely no com skills whatsoever) but i did anyway. and.. i had this flashback thing. lol. of wilson's conversation which his friend, amma htink it was nic, and he was instructing her how to fix her internet problem.
tried it. it works. lol. let ur com's automatically detect IP addresses ppl !

anyway, yea, boring update. i forgot to bring my HD and all over to point cook and his laptop is devoid of any entertainment.

still it's a laptop so that means internet and that means i am not complaining. hmm. time to google some cake recipes to try with mad's mum.
whee.

oh and co called me from NY last night. apparently he DID buy me some souvenirs. from coach. wooootttt. am loves !

so i had a really full day yesterday.

i shall just skip past what i did in the day time coz that's boring stuff.. the whole usual routine: class, class, library doing work and reading books, class, class, gym session with justin.
it was the night which was a whole different ball game from what i'm used to doing.

no, i was not out clubbing as usual but i went for a charity event called drawtism!

its a pictionary night to raise funds for autism

and it's going on all through june ! so, do sign up ! quite aside from the fact that you'll be doing a good deed to someone, you actually will have a lot of squeaky clean fun !

well, maybe not squeaky clean from the amount of beer that was brought, but still ! it's a good experience and was retardedly fun =)

even if during my turn to be the 'pictionarist' i ended up having to do charades with daniel FILMING me, it was still loads of fun.

do do sign up, or donate ! from the goal of AUD500 aimed to raise, we actually had tonnes of fun and manage to get in AUD1800, give or take a couple hundred.

and i won a pack of crayolas ! hehe, lynn's gonna be happy.

so ivan reformatted him and now, i'm patiently backing him up again, sobs sobs.

but.. he's working now. even though he's kinda empty =(

my sweetheart housemate =)

my housemate is such a sweetheart.
bar the fact that she goaded me into buying the cutest bandage dress and hoodie ever. but, that is quite beside the point and not that i really mind shopping anyway *cough*

anyway, she noticed my eye bags are getting more and more horrendous lately. and if you know me you'd know my eyebags are already pretty panda-like EVEN when i AM rested. and i'm not really recently.
probably from my crazy workload (which i have yet to actually get seriously into yet) and my non-rested sleep and strange dreams which i've been experiencing lately.

she noticed and found out that no, i do not use the eye-bag cream as regularly as i should and left a post-it note on my computer screen and my anti-dark circle serum beside the post-it note.
something she is SURE i will see everyday before i sleep.
plus its pink. and extremely multi-coloured. so very noticeable.
teehee.


it reads: use ur eye cream! REMEMBER! FOR RESULT! don't sleep now ! sleep after you apply! IMPORTANT !

i hurt. a lot.
sigh.

see i finally have something to blog about. i didn't really want to blog this coz my feet aren't particularly pretty but mama vin suggested (insisted actually) i blog about this so here is my finally, newest, latest entry.

anyway, yea, i attended this career fair thing hosted by my uni which was held in the clayton campus (for those of you that dont' know, i study in the caulfield campus and clayton's like.. i don't know.. a half an hour bus ride away)
so, back to story. career fare. nothing much about it there except i stayed a little longer than i should have and i had to hurry back in time to catch my tute. my AUDITING tute.
yes, it's auditing, and really important and therefore imperative i attend.

and like, 1km away (i'm probably exaggerating but it felt like that) i saw the uni shuttle bus turning a corner and if i miss that bus, i'm gonna miss class. so i RAN to the bus stop. yes, i ran. in a pair of freaking uncomfortable heels and for a freaking damn far distance.

don't ask me why i didn't just stop and go barefoot or just skip class.
i can't skip auditing coz it's auditing.
and i didn't think about the whole barefoot thing. probably coz i was laden down with my graduate programme books.

upon reflection, i should have just dumped everything. coz it isn't worthed the pain.

and therefore, i am blistered. and damn miserable. it effing hurts.
it was soooooo painful i almost cried when kenneth asked me to meet him a couple of blocks away and WALK down stairs to get jien's phone. i didn't make it down the stairs, haha.
i took a cab home coz this effing hurts too much to have to make the long half an hour trek back home from uni, rwar.
and almost died when i washed my feet to get out all the dirt and stuff. it. was.. like.. throwing spirit on an open wound. feels like anyway. i've tried that before.
i have not yet figured out how i'm gonna sleep tonight. darren found it hilarious. i think. i'm not sure if he was laughing at my ielts photo or at my feet. vin wants to know how i actually sleep tonight.
i'm not sure either.

a close up of my poor pathetic blistered feet. yes, they actually hurt as much as they look. which is to say, this are the worst blisteres i've ever gotten in my life. ever.
